Me: Do you need to go potty?
Lily: no
Me: Are you sure?
Lily: No!
Five minutes later
Me: Do you need to go potty?
Lily: I did (reveals little puddle on my couch)
Me: I just asked you (pulling hair out in frustration)
Seriously going to need new furniture when this is over.
Additions to my things I thought I'd never say list:
Don't touch your sister's vagina!
(running around naked potty training, you know so I don't have to do laundry everyday)
Don't run and pee!
(Lily walked across the floor while peeing leaving a two foot trail on my carpet for me to clean up)

Hahaha! I just started potty training my daughter today and I literally had that EXACT conversation about half an hour ago!! I'm sure it'll get better, hopefully quickly ;)
